Question: I am learning Mishnas Sofrim in the Mishnah Berurah and e regarding the Ches, that if it is formed as a Dales-Zayin with the Chatoteres above and the Chatoteres is at the end of the Dales, it cannot be fixed. I am wondering, would a solution be to thicken the Chatoteres toward the middle of the top of the Dales, and then to scrape away the excess Chatoteres from the inside along with the end of the Dales so that it forms a Zayin? Would that still be shelo kesidron?
