הוי"ו ב"היום" כמעט מקל שוה העולה באלכסון, יש בו רק בליטה קטנה [שציינתי בחץ אדום בתמונה שניה] המצילה אותו. אם לא אותו בליטה [ציור שני שבתמונה שניה], היה הוי"ו פסול משום גולם, כלומר שאין לו ראש.
Is your question that it be fixed on top instead of the bottom? or fixed both?
Definitly both may be fixed, but I think the bottom part is more important in fixing the tzura of the vav.
If your question was to fix the top instead of the bottom - it matters what result we would receive, so you might have to fix the bottom after fixing the top
Could it also be fixed on the other angle i.e. the top right part ?
